This has been going through my head all day, and it’s driving me nuts…

Wonder what old Bertie is up to these days?

  1. I’m not going to listen to it since I can’t remember right off what it sounds like and I don’t need it stuck in my head. It was a bit of a catchy tune as I recall. I remember one of my good friend’s ex-wife used to love that song.

    1. I don’t know why it got stuck in my head like it did. It’s not like I heard it recently; I woke up thinking about it for no apparent reason and now I can’t get the darn thing out of my mind…

      1. I do that a lot. Especially since I started doing the Battle of the Bands posts I keep thinking up new songs to use and the song will start running through my head until something comes along to replace it.

      1. It’s just after you ride that ride at Disney World, the song stays in your head forever. So some friends of mine and I used to torture each other by singing it and making it get stuck in our heads. I just wasn’t sure you knew what that song was. LOL

        1. Have you ever seen Jeff Dunham, the ventriloquist, one of whose characteres is Walter,. a grumpy old man? Found this in a review: “The grumpy Walter just got back from his second honeymoon at Disneyland, which he enjoyed, except for one area. ‘They should turn “It’s a Small World” into an international shooting gallery,’ he grumbled.”

            1. I saw him on a video, where he was in the middle of his act when some poor guy got up to go to the bathroom. Walter said “Don’t worry, we’ll wait!” And they did, until the guy got back. I think Walter then asked if the guy had washed his hands…

  2. I hate to say that I never liked this song! Sherry Lewis, the puppeteer had a song that drove me nuts too. “This is the song that never ends, and it goes on and on my friends. Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was… and they’ll just keep on singing it forever, just because… this is the song that never ends………………..” (help)
