    1. It sounds like a riddle until you read the rest of the article. Then it makes perfect sense. I think it’s an excellent point, not doing things because you expect a certain result, but do them because you want to do them. Not something most of us learned growing up, at least I didn’t.

      1. I was thinking about that earlier, actually. I wrote my first novel just because I wanted to write a novel. I never expected to publish anything. I’m so glad I started that way. 😀

    1. That’s the spirit! Don’t do something because you want a certain result (it’s likely you won’t get it); do it because you want to do it. The rest of it follows from there.
