Introducing Tobacco to England

According to my calendar, on this day in 1586 Sir Walter Raleigh brought the first tobacco to England from Virginia.

  4. One question I never missed in History class was “Who introduced tobacco to England?” Because of the Beatles song “I’m so tired”. I also got bonus points in a college pharmacology class for knowing the number stamped on a Qualude. It’s in a Rick James song. So much to learn from music!!
